I’m Blake and I play lead guitar as well as the synth in Kids That Fly. I picked up the guitar after getting consumed with The Beatles Rock Band video game as a kid. I’ve been playing in rock and jazz bands since I was in 6th grade. I later went to the University of Connecticut to study jazz guitar, which is where I met the rest of the band.  Some of my top influences are Tame Impala, The Beatles, John Mayer, Toro y Moi, and The Eagles. 

Besides playing guitar in Kids That Fly I do a lot of music production as well. I am super interested in the production element of music as well as songwriting. On the side I like to go on hikes, practice photography, and play with my dog Anna, and cat Steve (yes it’s a human name). My favorite guitar that I almost always play live is my fender Strat. I’ve played it throughout all of my bands since I started playing guitar.
